Loans and scholarships

• The Contest for the student loans and scholarships is issued by Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and it is open from October 1st to October 31st of current year


• Candidates are submitting application to the educational institution they attend


• The final list of candidates, who have been granted a loan or scholarship, is established by Commission for Student Loans and Scholarships of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development


• Number of approved student loans and scholarships is determined according to the available funds in the budget of the Republic of Serbia


• Students conclude a loan agreement with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, which specifies the rights and obligations concerning the use and repayment of loans


• The monthly amount of student loans and scholarships for the current academic year is RSD 8,400 and it is paid at a maximum of 10 monthly installments.



• Students, who have been granted student loans or scholarships are obliged to visit the nearest branch of UniCredit Bank and to open a current account on which bank will pay student loan or scholarship. The current account is free. To open a current account is required ID and index insight

The students, who are awarded with the student loan for the first time, are required to submit the bill and guarantor’s statement, completed according to the instructions on the back of the Form 6 to Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, and through their high education institutions.

The request for exemption from the obligation to return the received student loan should be submitted to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Nemanjina 22-24, 11000 Belgrade.

• Applications for school loans and scholarships can be submitted from September 1st until September 30th of the current year

• The monthly amount of school loans and scholarships for the current academic year is RSD 5,400 and is paid for 10 months

• Users of loans and scholarships are required to visit the nearest branch of Unicredit Bank and open a current account that will be used for payment of a loan or scholarship

• The payments of school loans and scholarships are made on the current account opened at UniCredit Bank, except in the case when there is no UniCredit branch in the student place of residence.

• In that case, the payment will be made at the current account of his school.

• Free current account for payment of student loans and scholarships can be opened at any branch of Unicredit Bank. Pupils who hold an ID card can open an account independently, with the presentation of student book, while pupils who do not own an ID card can open an account in the presence of their parents, with mandatory submission of a Certificate of facts and data entered in the registers issued by the registrar, that minimum must contain the following information: full name, date and place of birth, social security number of the child, as well as information about the legal representative / guardian (minimum the name and ID number).

• You will be able to order the required documentation, which is printed in the form of brochure HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS 2017/2018, by the school you are attending, starting from September 1st, 2017, or by purchasing it in books store Prosvetni pregled at the following addresses:
